Fasson® TransCode® White II/S4900/50#SCK
Spec# 74087 - Restricted to hand application
Facestock:
Fasson® TransCode® White II is a white polyolefin thermal transfer printable film specially engineered to be receptive to a variety of thermal transfer ribbons. Printable by screen, UV letterpress, UV solvent, and water-based flexographic inks, thermal transfer resin-based or wax/resin combination ribbons. In-house testing is always recommended prior to final ink or ribbon selection. This facestock is opaque to most thermal transfer printer sensors. However, older model printers might not sense it, and it might be necessary to use registration holes between labels or backprint the liner with registration marks. Testing in the printer is highly recommended prior to entering production commitments. This product can be diecut and stripped at high speeds on standard web-fed presses using tooling specifically designed for this construction. This product is not recommended for automatic labeling applications. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Liner:
50#SCK is a bleached, super calendered paper stock with very good diecutting and matrix stripping properties. Used for standard roll-to-roll and fanfolded applications. For best results, fanfolded products must be processed in a controlled environment of 40-50% RH. Not recommended for sheeted applications. Features good back printability.
