Fasson® 3 Mil Clear MDO/S7000/1.2 Mil Polyester
Spec# 78892
Facestock:
Fasson® 3 Mil Clear MDO is a corona-treated, flexible matte clear polyolefin with exceptional dimensional stability for use in a wide range of applications, including prime labels. Printable by UV screen, UV letterpress, flexo, solvent gravure, and water-based flexo inks. Use of in-line corona treatment will greatly expand the number of inks which can be used. Use caution when applying inks out to the edge of the label, particularly UV screen inks and UV cured varnishes. High shrinkage coatings can cause labels to lift off the liner or substrate. In-house testing is always recommended prior to final ink selection.

This product can be diecut and stripped at high speeds on standard web-fed presses using typical film tooling. Excellent dispensability with direct comparison to clear *OPTICITE™ and better performance over clear MDPE and clear flex vinyl.

*OPTICITE™ is a trademark of The Dow Chemical Company.

Adhesive:
Fasson® S7000 is a clear, general purpose permanent acrylic adhesive. It exhibits a balance of release properties to enable high speed converting and dispensing on increasingly-thinner substrates. Adhesion performance is designed for low surface energy substrates, enabling lasting performance on rigid and squeezable containers. It has been specifically designed to exhibit excellent wet-out characteristics and water-whitening resistance.

FDA compliance: Fasson® S7000 adhesive complies with Title 21, Section 175.105 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 175.105). Compliance with this regulation permits the use of this adhesive in applications for which the adhesive either (1) is separated from the food by a functional barrier, which will prevent the migration of any of the adhesive components to the food; or, (2) has incidental contact with food, limited to the trace amount at the seams or edges of the label.
