Fasson® 2 Mil Super Clear Polystyrene/S1000/44#PK
Spec# 71077-REV 4/2024L
Facestock:
Fasson® 2 Mil Clear Polystyrene is a versatile thermoplastic resin, corona treated to assist in printability. The film stiffness allows for easy converting and dispensing. Printable by flexography and UV letterpress. Use caution when applying inks out to the edge of the label, particularly UV screen inks and UV cured varnishes. High shrinkage coatings can cause labels to lift off the liner or substrate. In-house testing is always recommended prior to ink selection. This product can be diecut and stripped at normal speeds on standard web-fed presses. Sample labels in a variety of shapes have been dispensed and applied successfully with standard labeling systems.

Frequently used in the prime label market where squeezability and clear labeling are critical. Meets the requirements of FDA Compliance: Title 21, Section 175.105 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 175.105). Compliance to this regulation permits the use of this adhesive in applications for which the adhesive either (1) is separated from the food by a functional barrier, which will prevent the migration of any of the adhesive components to the food, or (2) has incidental contact with food limited to the trace amount at the seams or the edges of the label.
