The paper layer complies with CFR Title 21 Sections 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210, 176.260, 176.300 and 178.3520. Compliance with these regulations allows this layer to directly contact food.
The LDPE layer meets the requirements for resins intended for food packaging applications as described in the FDA olefin polymer regulations CFR Title 21 section 177.1520 (c.)(2.2) and conforms to the requirements in CFR Title 21 Section 176.170, paragraph (c) for all “types of raw and processed food” as shown in Table 1 and every “condition of use” as shown in Table 2.
The foil layer complies with CFR Title 21 Section 178.3910. This allows this layer to directly contact food. The tie layer complies with CFR Title 21 Section 177.1330 (b) Ionomeric resins, subject to the limitations and requirements therein.
According to the manufacturer of the 35# PPFP, the paper has compliance with CFR Title 21, Sections 176.180, 176.170, 176.210, 176.260, 176.300 and 178.3520. The foil layer has compliance with CFR Title 21 Section 1771520. The laminating resin has compliance with CFR Title 21 Section 177.1520 © 2.2. Compliance with these regulations allows the direct contact of the product with all food types. |
