Fasson® 56# MaxFlexTM Bright Silver FSC® /AT20/1.2M PET
Spec# 53381
Facestock:
Fasson® 56# MaxFlex™ Bright Silver  FSC® features a premium metallized finish and an acrylic topcoat. Its surface provides good printability by UV flexographic, UV Inkjet (UVIJ), UV letterpress, solvent, and water-based flexo inks. This facestock has been qualified on the Domino N610i, Durst Tau® 330, EFI Jetrion® 4900, and 4950LX. Additional product constructions utilizing the same facestock are available. Fasson® 56# MaxFlex™ Bright Silver provides an ideal print surface for wine, spirits, craft beer, and other high-end beverages, as well as gourmet foods. Use caution when applying inks out to the edge of the label, particularly UV cured inks and varnishes. High shrinkage coatings can cause labels to lift off the liner or substrate. The FSC® certification ensures that products come from well managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. The FSC® chain of custody certification verifies that FSC® certified material is identified or kept segregated from non-certified or non-controlled material through this chain.

In-house testing is always recommended prior to final ink selection. Since qualification is subjective, evaluation and customer perception might differ. As label designs vary, we encourage end application testing of all materials.

Adhesive:
Fasson® AT20 is an all-temperature adhesive developed to provide good room temperature performance and excellent cold temperature performance without sacrificing good diecutting and stripping properties. Because of its cold-temperature properties and good adhesion to corrugated cardboard, AT20 is an ideal adhesive for warehouse applications. Fasson® AT20 is suitable for applications where compliance with FDA 175.105 is required. This section covers applications where incidental contact between food and adhesive could occur.

FDA Compliance: Title 21, Section 175.105 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 175.105). Compliance to this regulation permits the use of this adhesive in applications for which the adhesive either (1) is separated from the food by a functional barrier, which will prevent the migration of any of the adhesive components to the food, or (2) has incidental contact with food limited to the trace amount at the seams or the edges of the label.
