Fasson® FasClear® 350/S1000/65#MF
Spec# 71227
Facestock:
Fasson® FasClear® 350 is a corona-treated, flexible matte clear polyolefin film with exceptional dimensional stability. Printable by web screen, UV letterpress, flexo solvent, and water-based inks. Use of in-line corona treatment will greatly expand the number of inks which can be used. Use caution when applying inks out to the edge of the label, particularly UV screen inks and UV cured varnishes. High shrinkage coatings can cause labels to lift off the liner or substrate. In-house testing is always recommended prior to final ink selection.

This product can be diecut and stripped at high speeds on standard web-fed presses using typical film tooling. Excellent dispensability with direct comparison to clear Opticite*, and better performance over clear MDPE and clear flexible vinyl.

NOTE: Opticite* is a trademark of The Dow Chemical Company.

Adhesive:
Fasson® S1000 is a clear permanent adhesive specifically designed to exhibit excellent wet-out characteristics on clear films. Frequently used in the prime label market where squeezability and clear labeling are critical. Meets the requirements of FDA Compliance: Title 21, Section 175.105 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 175.105). Compliance to this regulation permits the use of this adhesive in applications for which the adhesive either (1) is separated from the food by a functional barrier, which will prevent the migration of any of the adhesive components to the food, or (2) has incidental contact with food limited to the trace amount at the seams or the edges of the label.
