6.5 Mil Gloss/Gloss SynCarta® is a specially designed, UV stabilized, glossy synthetic paper. This synthetic paper is biaxially oriented polypropylene with high opacity, water, grease, and oil resistance. The dimensional stability of this product provides a soft, smooth finish for a wide array of printing including, flexographic, gravure, letterpress, and offset printing. SynCarta® also allows for embossing, drilling and punching, foil stamping, perforating, and ease of diecutting. SynCarta® is a registered trademark of AET. Gloss/Gloss SynCarta is a lower surface energy film. Avery recommends the use of inks designed specifically for films, and to pre-treat the material prior to printing.
