AdhesiveAdhesive physical properties
TS8000 is an extremely aggressive, permanent rubber-based adhesive specifically designed for use on rough and difficult-to-label surfaces, such as tires. Provided with a pattern gum at the edges to avoid adhesive bleed. Due to the heavy adhesive coatweight, TS8000 does not allow for high press speeds. Diecutting and press/inspection rewind tension should be kept under careful control to avoid adhesive bleed.

Product Data Sheet

Features and Benefits
This product is specially designed to meet the performance requirements of automotive tire labeling.  With a high barrier to penetration of components within the rubber substrates, the product will remain free of staining pattern from the tire tread under the majority of normal storage conditions.

Applications and Uses
Label durability during periods of storage outdoor and in sunlight is good.

Printing and Converting
Due to the semi-rigid nature of this facestock, care should be taken when designing the die configuration.  Square corners should be designed out so as to avoid matrix breakage.  Web temperatures should be below 120° F at the point of stripping.
