4182DL Tyvek® Brillion® - you’ll notice a difference at first glance compared to classic Tyvek® grades. Tyvek® Brillion® is whiter, smoother and 38% more uniform in caliper. The design enhancements make it the perfect choice for demanding barcode applications. ANSI barcode ratings of A and B are the respective result of printed (flexo, offset) and imprinted (thermal transfer) production methods. Improved print density and integrity on thermal transfer equipment can allow faster printing at lower temperatures, extending the life of print heads. 4173DL Tyvek® Brillion® with Flame Retardant is flame retardant coated on one side and meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302 (FMVSS 302). The preferred flame retardant tag material in the market, this coating contains a light blue color additive for visual confirmation of coating presence. Like other Tyvek® Brillion® grades, product is thermal transfer printable on the non-coated side.
