Features and Benefits
Applications and Uses
Printing and Converting
Can be thermal transfer printed with wax, wax/resin combination, and resin based ribbons on standard thermal transfer printing equipment. The smooth matte surface accepts most flexographic, letterpress, and screen inks. The following press inks are UL Recongized in all colors for indoor use without the need for overlamination. Water-based flexogrphic inks: Environmental Inks & Coatings' "DR III FR"; Flint Ink's "HydroFilm ACRE"; and Water Ink Technologies' "Versifilm Plus ULF". UV Flexographic inks: Environmental Inks & Coatings' "UltraFlex III SFR"; Flint Ink's "Flexocure Sigma"; and Water Ink Technologies' "PharmaFlex UV". Also recognized in all colors for indoor use with Jetrion 4000 Series UV ink jet inks. Other ink systems may also be suitable for use with this material. Testing is recommended prior to selecting any thermal transfer ribbon or press ink for production. Can be die cut and converted at high speeds on most roll fed rotary printing equipment. Labels in a variety of shapes and sizes have been successfully dispensed on standard pressure sensitive label dispensers.
