Facestock:
Fasson® 1 Mil Clear Direct Thermal BOPP is a durable, standard sensitivity, high density, matte transparent polypropylene overlaminating film. It has a thermal-sensitive coating for direct thermal printing (black imaging) which exhibits good environmental resistance. Ideal for creating direct thermal labels on both clear and opaque substrates, without sacrificing the appearance of the substrate.

This thermal-sensitive product is designed for use in thermal printing systems at print speeds up to 8 ips (inches per second; 200 mm/sec). A primer might be required with UV flexo printing. It is advisable to test inks and varnishes prior to converting.

This material is well-suited to clamshell packaging for produce, product identification labels, garment labels, healthcare labeling, medical wristbands, and other applications which require transparent characteristics. It provides some resistance to water, oils, plasticizers, and isopropyl alcohol. Product testing should be conducted for each specific application.

Fasson® S692N is a clear general purpose permanent acrylic adhesive. It exhibits a balance of high cohesive strength and adhesion to low surface-energy substrates for lasting performance on squeezable containers. Specifically designed to exhibit excellent wetout characteristics and short-term removability. Meets the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact. This section covers applications where incidental contact between food and adhesive could occur.
