Fasson® 60# Estate Label® No. 14 WS ("wet strength") Weld FSC® is a 100% post-consumer-waste paper facestock which maintains color and strength even when wet. For wineries with a sustainability story to tell, Estate Label® No. 14 WS Weld adds another chapter, featuring a wet strength additive which increases resistance to tearing and shriveling in moist environments. This paper is welded to a film making it an ideal facestock for wine, spirits, and beer. It was created to provide a good print surface for distinguished wine, beverage, and gourmet food labels. It has exceptional strength and is ideal for embossing.
The FSC® chain of custody certification verifies that FSC® certified material is identified or kept segregated from non-certified or non-controlled material through this chain.
Note:
Due to its high stiffness, it is not recommended for labeling on small diameters, neck labels in particular. It is important to apply adequate pressure during the labeling process to ensure a good adhesion performance on the substrate.
