Facestock:
Fasson® Direct-Therm 200HD FSC® is a smooth white paper with a medium sensitivity thermal coating. A special low ion topcoating provides protection for the thermal layer and maximizes print head life. This product is suitable for use in a wide variety of direct thermal label printers, especially those typically used in weigh-scale applications. Fasson® Direct-Therm 200HD FSC® is resistant to blood, fats, oils, plasticizers found in PVC, alcohols, solvents, and vinegar.

The FSC® certification ensures that products come from well managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. The FSC® chain of custody certification verifies that FSC® certified material is identified or kept segregated from non-certified or non-controlled material through this chain.

Fasson recommends material to be imaged and used within three to six months (FIFO inventory method) upon receipt of material for the finest quality product.

Adhesive:
Fasson® S2550 is a versatile general purpose permanent adhesive designed for excellent adhesion to corrugated cardboard and superior adhesion to plastics. It offers excellent initial tack and ultimate adhesion, especially at lower temperatures, without sacrificing high-speed converting.  The S2550 adhesive meets the requirements of FDA CFR 175.105 for indirect food contact. Compliance to this regulation permits the use of this adhesive in applications for which the adhesive either (1) is separated from the food by a functional barrier, which will prevent the migration of any of the adhesive components to the food; or, (2) has incidental contact with food, limited to the trace amount at the seams or the edges of the label.
