Facestock:
Fasson® 60# Estate Label® #4 Wet-Strength FSC® is a paper facestock with a white laid finish, and a wet strength additive to increase resistance to tearing and shriveling in moist environments. The surface provides good printability by UV Inkjet, UV letterpress, UV flexographic, solvent-based, and water-based inks including WBIJ. This paper is welded to a film making it an ideal facestock for wine and spirits and especially white wines and beers.

This facestock has been qualified on UVIJ Jetrion® 4900 and 4950 models and the WBIJ Memjet® platform. Fasson® 60# Estate Label® #4 Wet-Strength FSC® provides an ideal print surface for wine, high-end beverages, and gourmet food. Use caution when applying inks out to the edge of the label, particularly UV cured inks and varnishes. High-shrink coatings can cause labels to lift off the liner or substrate.

The FSC® certification ensures that products come from well-managed forests which provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. The FSC® chain of custody certification verifies that FSC® certified material is identified or kept segregated from non-certified or non-controlled material through this chain.

NOTE: In-house testing is always recommended prior to final ink selection. Qualification of material is subjective; evaluation and customer perception might differ. Because label designs vary, we encourage end-use application testing of all materials.

Fasson® AT20N is an all-temperature permanent adhesive developed to provide good room temperature performance and excellent cold temperature performance without sacrificing good diecutting and stripping properties. Because of its cold-temperature properties and good adhesion to corrugated cardboard, AT20N is an ideal adhesive for warehouse applications. Fasson® AT20N is suitable for applications where compliance with FDA 175.105 is required. This section covers applications where incidental contact between food and adhesive could occur.
