Fasson® 1.6M Clear BOPP NTC/S7400ER/0.75M Polyester
Spec# B7776
Facestock:
Fasson® 1.6 Mil Clear BOPP is a biaxially-oriented polypropylene film designed for specific semi-rigid applications, using solvent gravure printing. Clear BOPP presents significant challenges for ink adhesion via UV printing technologies. Therefore, application-specific testing is recommended for suitability/durability across all ink and varnish combinations, as well as printing processes, including solvent gravure.

Adhesive:
Fasson® S7400ER is a clear, permanent acrylic adhesive designed specifically for prime film beer and beverage label applications which require resistance to water. It is engineered to be applied in moist environments typically found in brewery (beer) applications. Maintains clarity even with extended exposure to ice water after the label has been applied to a dry surface. This adhesive offers improved release for both matrix stripping and dispensing. It also has excellent wetout characteristics. Not recommended for textured and/or low surface energy (HDPE) surfaces.

Fasson® S7400ER utilizes AD CleanFlake™ Technology to enable recycling for PET and HDPE plastic bottles and containers. It has been recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers.

Below is a link to the APR Letter Recognizing this construction with PET & HDPE recyling:

FDA compliance: Fasson® S7400ER adhesive complies with Title 21, Section 175.105 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 175.105). Compliance with this regulation permits the use of this adhesive in applications for which the adhesive either (1) is separated from the food by a functional barrier, which will prevent the migration of any of the adhesive components to the food; or, (2) has incidental contact with food, limited to the trace amount at the seams or edges of the label.
